Sarah Jones is a Certified Pedorthist (C. Ped (C)) based in Port Alberni, British Columbia, known for her expertise in custom orthotics and orthopaedic footwear. She plays a significant role in helping individuals achieve better foot health and mobility in the Alberni Valley.
Sarah completed her degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. Her journey into pedorthics continued with an apprenticeship at Paris Orthotics, where she worked until 2004.
Following this, Sarah established Coast Orthotics, her own clinic, which operates out of Walk the Coast – a specialized footwear store in Port Alberni. Her collaboration with the store’s founders, Brent and Stacey, arose from a shared understanding of the need for quality footwear and biomechanical support in the community. As of mid-2025, in addition to her clinical work, Sarah continues to serve as a product buyer and consultant for Walk the Coast, ensuring the store offers footwear that aligns with principles of proper foot health.
